New hairstyle

I'm so boy now. I looked so boy.. i think i can go be a guy now.

U know, its so true when Ks told me... I cant make up my mind. One moment, I wanna have long hair with curly locks.. and then I wanna have short hair ...

BUT not so short!!!

Now, the longest hair on my head is jus slightly longer than my finger. Ah, I finally fulfilled my parents' wish to have a son! ...

sob... this is horrible. I'm gonna make sure I takes lotsa picture .. and remind myself that I'm never gonna cut this short again.

If only my sis din call me to go out, then I wun think of going to cut hair. EVEN if I did think of going to cut hair... my inertia would be so great that I'll jus end up nuahing at home.

sux! I need to be more girly now... otherwise wait the kopi tiam uncle call me xiao di...

Mould clearing

This blog is starting to smell of growing mould, and I can even see disgusting saprophytes sprouting out from all over! Eww! As such, I am here to do something about the terrible state it is in. REVITALIZATION! JA saves the day (and the blog)!


Here's a pic from the Christian union ball held 2 Fridays ago at one of the POSHEST hotels in Liverpool. Despite the fact that all my close friends deserted me by not going, I had a fantastic evening! It was so refreshing to see my mates transform from their usually scruffy-looking selves into handsome men and gorgeous ladies... That evening, I let my hair down and hit the dance floor for the first time in 20 years. I've never danced so hard (in 3 inch heels) before! But it was truly an experience to remember. I'm quite certain my poor limb co-ordination was a cringe-worthy sight to behold, but I don't really care cos everyone was being silly too! lol.

And here's a tribute to the Professor who had made my last few weeks in hospital so memorable- The great Prof Neoptolemos. Well, I have to admit that in the days when I was still attached to his ward, he did give me and my group a VERY difficult time. We used to be SO SCARED! He doesn't mince his words, and some things that have been said were extremely demoralizing and painful to hear... but in retrospect, I think I've learnt the most from attending his ward rounds. He keeps me on my toes and forces me to go away to look things up. You can call me a sucker for punishment... cos I doubt anybody with a sane mind would think the same. But really, since the start of my new rotation with a 'nicer' consultant who doesn't even look at us in the eye, I have to admit that I do find days in hospital slightly more boring. Come to think of it, I wonder what he thought of us when we used to answer all his questions with 'I don't know,' 'erm...' or 'i think...' After all, here is the world's top pancreatic surgeon, and he has to deal with miniscule medical students who can't even get their anatomy right.

And I'd like to end with a picture of 78's 大帅哥. hahaha. Do you know he reads this blog??? Mr Zhang, don't forget that you promised to tag if I wrote something! This man is a hard person to catch online... he is way too illusive, so I was very happy when he messaged me online on Valentine's day! haha... we were chatting about when I was going home for the summer, and I suggested that he come to the airport with a huge banner and flowers... and then throw confetti and shout '欢迎欢迎，热烈欢迎' when I come through from the other side of the glass panels. Come to think of it, that would be quite a nice way of being welcomed back. KX... PLEASE?

Ok, I think I've really spent quite enough time typing this entry and it's about time that I went back to working on my PBL. Hope everyone's been well. Enjoy your holidays people. Even if you have to spend it in the labs culturing monsters. =) Gambatte.

It's holidays!! But I cant sleep now. Think it's all bcos of my nap jus now. ZZZzz

Life is sad sometimes. One of my sister's close fren's husband jus passed away. And they are not even traditionally married yet.. but they had ROM already. which kind of makes it even more sad.

It's totally unexpected.

gosh. Lets not think too much! so sad.

Then just now, everyone tries to convince my another sis to go get attached. but as usual, i doubt she cares... Then my mum started telling us stories abt my aunties.. and how they alwayz think that the guy will wait for them or stuff.. and then end up with nothing.
haha it's kindda interesting.. haha...

of cos.... the ultimate expert shld be wj lar.. haha.... his stories are classic!

busy week

This week is gonna be busy.

2125 test,
2125 assignment due on wed,
3121 test,
4 tutorials to do (Not that I will do them),
2108 lab report due friday which my group and I decide to rush on thursday --> freaking error analysis? what's that?

After this week, it's gonna be break! But it's not a break for me either

2116 test after break.. which i dun remember when...
singapore studies essay --> hafta research n do outline.. basically, it's best if I finish it.
lotsa webcasts which I will miss this week,

All these dun look alot rite? But trust me, it'll take me a hell lot of time to complete all these.. damn.

school life is 10x more hectic, 10x harder and worst of all...

But honestly, thanks so much F3! Your efforts are muchly appreciated! Your goodies have made my Chinese New Year this year so much more festive and real. =) First taste of them in 2 years feels absolutely heavenly! *yum*

as usual, the guys were playing cards. and the girls went out to shop for food, and then we had a sumptious meal together!

I rmr someone cant find the way to jing's place, and i had to direct him. But i cant rmr who exactly.. hahahaha shit..

My profs don't want us to have a happy valentine day! Scheduled both tests on 15 and 16 Feb. How to enjoy valentine day?!

But luckily for me, my cute babe just flew to Japan... so no V-day for me. Except with my lovers number 3--> WWWR (my heat and mass transfer book) and Process Dynamic guys. Not bad ... I have two dates!!

urgh some sickening guy jus walk past my house smoking. blardie hell... dunno wat kind of cigar he smokes... its damn smelly. every breathe I take is practically killing my lungs... %$#&^$

anyway, our new year visiting was... NOrmal. It's totally the same as last year and the year before. But this year, Charlie learnt a new trick. hhaha.. it's called.. SIT AND HAND.

First you have to grab the tennis ball from him. Then you show him you got the ball. Next, you order him to sit. When he sits down, you ask for his hands. Then he'll shake hands with you! It's so cute!!

As for Mrs Toh's new cat Ginger, erh.. she's dao! And she anyhow walk behind ppl's back!! ek.... I don't like CATS.... except pretty cats.

Gesh, unfortunately for Jacinth.. there's no CNY photos this year. Basically... you jus take a look at our past years photo.. and it's exactly the same.
